Cabin filter removing
WARNING: Always ensure that the A/C-heater system is turned off and that the ignition change is within the OFF place previous to servicing the particulate air filter. 1. Remove the glove field shelf
(2) from the instrument panel (1). Carefully pull the shelf rearward to disengage the 4 retainers. 2. Disengage the retaining tab (1) that secures the particulate air filter cowl (2) to the HVAC housing. 3. Open the particulate air filter cowl to disengage the hinge clips
(3) and take away the duvet.
4. Remove the particulate air filter (1) from the HVAC housing (2) by pulling the filter aspect straight rearward, out of the housing.
Cabin filter set up
NOTE: The particulate air filter is labeled with an arrow to point air movement path by way of the filter. Make positive to correctly set up the particulate air filter. Failure to correctly set up the filter will lead to the necessity to change the filter earlier than required by design.
1. Install the particulate air filter (1) into the filter opening within the HVAC housing (2). Insert the particulate air filter immediately into the housing with the arrows on the filter (3) pointing to the ground.
2. Position the particulate air filter cowl (2) to the HVAC housing and have interaction the hinge clips (3).
3. Close the particulate air filter cowl and have interaction the retaining tab (1). Make positive the retaining tab and hinges are absolutely engaged.
4. Install the glove field shelf (2). Make positive the 4 retainers are absolutely engaged to the instrument pane (1).
