The Special Limited sequence choice package deal was first launched for Canada and the export market in March 2008. For the 2008 mannequin yr, the “S” package deal was solely obtainable with the three.0L turbo diesel engine. The package deal continued to be supplied within the 2009 mannequin yr with the diesel engine. When the diesel was discontinued in North America in December 2008, Jeep determined to re-introduce the package deal in Canada with the 5.7L Hemi engine in February 2009.
