INSTALLATION

WARNING: REVIEW THE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS IN PLUMBING BEFORE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING OPERATION.

Any kinks or sharp bends within the refrigerant plumbing will scale back the capability of the whole air-con system. Kinks and sharp bends scale back the circulation of refrigerant within the system. A great rule for the versatile hose refrigerant traces is to maintain the radius of all bends at the very least ten instances the diameter of the hose. In addition, the versatile hose refrigerant traces must be routed so they’re at the very least 80 millimeters (3 inches) from the exhaust manifold.

High pressures are produced within the refrigerant system when the air-con compressor is working. Extreme care have to be exercised to make it possible for every of the refrigerant system connections is pressure-tight and leak free. It is an effective observe to examine all versatile hose refrigerant traces at the very least annually to ensure they’re in good situation and correctly routed.
